TOPIC:      
Investigating Conservation of Energy

ENERGY TYPES TO CONSIDER:      
Most likely, you will be considering gravitational potential, kinetic and elastic potential energies.

GROUP SIZE:      
Students may work in groups of 4 or less.

PLANNING TIME:      
Planning will be done by the groups on Thursday, November 27th in the library seminar room.   As well, groups will begin writing up the lab report (title page, introduction, hypothesis, materials, method and blank data tables)

LAB DAYS:      
Friday, November 28 and Monday, December 1.   A third day (Tuesday, December 2) might be required for data collection.

MARKS ALLOTMENT:      
This will be largest item in the "lab" category which is worth 30% of your overall mark.   Another words, this is hugely important if you want get a good mark in this class.

LAB HAND-IN DETAILS:      
-one report per group will be allowed, although you have the option of doing one by yourself.
